A week ago i read about a man who fought to help America and the world find their full destiny under God. he once summed up his convictions in these words:
"my deep personal wish is to have every American free under the direction of God to fight for America; so to fight that America really be free, free from the tyranny of sin, under God's direction, the unseen but ever present power. I wish this no less deeply for everyone in every nation. I don't want our sons, especially our fighting sons to go about without an answer. It simply enslaves them. It is not good enough. it will drive them to the same philosophy that rules our opponents. We shall never create an inspired democracy that way. Men must learn to have faith that will create the right revolution. If we can spread this revolution fast enough we can save America and the world.Unless we have this revolution there will be a revolution of chaos."
Frank Buchman lived his dream, My dear! what are you living for? In a world with millions of unprecedented opportunities, new businesses and industries that never existed 20 years ago now have a long list of applicants hoping to be gainfully employed.by them. Focus on the people and things that play a key role in achieving.your SMART goals. The things you can control should never control you. The internet in itself can be said to be the world wrapped as a gift to man but as always the coin is ours, so we decide: head or tail.
No matter where we've been or where we are, we can start being where we desire to be. For some people, mediocrity is the norm and excuses the most appealing way to live. If foreign stories won't get you off your comfort zone a little research on individuals in your neighborhood with the desire to be the change they want to see should. One of my favourite quotes says ' You are not here merely to make a living.you are here in order to enable the world to live more amply with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. you are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.
May i ask you a question, quite simple but sensitive, at what age would you like to bid this world good bye? Sincerely, pen that down, close your eyes and imagine this story, you are in a burial ceremony, apparently it's yours, you can see your coffin and all your family members, friends and colleagues are present, three people have to speak to everyone about you and the legacy you left behind: A family member, a friend and someone whose life you changed, what would you like to hear from these three individuals. pen that down and get to work. Remember ' The rebuilding of the human mind begins with the admission of the need to move to a higher level of thinking'. Cheers!
